Route 66 Recovery was founded at a table in the bar of Buster’s Restaurant in the fall of 1998. Our humble beginnings were a desk and a wall phone in a corner of the front office of a body shop in Flagstaff , Arizona . In June of 1999 I became the sole owner / operator of Route 66 Recovery. On the day it became mine I had a phone number, access to someone else’s storage yard, one small boom truck, and seventy eight dollars in the bank.
Since that time we have grown, but not too much. I and my dedicated core of employees pride ourselves on being the smallest, toughest, full service towing company in northern Arizona . There is no mess that you can get yourself into from which we cannot successfully extract you and your vehicle or equipment. I have never run into anything that proved, ultimately, to be too big, too far, too stuck, too heavy, or too broken or damaged to be recovered. I’m sure that beast is out there, but so far cost and personalities are the only things which have ever stopped us.
In addition to recovery work we also offer a full spectrum towing services, from motorcycles and minivans to heavy trucks, if you see it on the road we can tow it.
We have never aspired to be the fastest, the biggest or the least expensive. This business has not been built on that model. What we can provide you with is personalized service, tailored to the needs of the situation at hand, provided by people motivated to be the best they can be at a price that reflects the quality of our work and our ability too successfully accomplish the tasks most others refuse to even attempt as well as the more routine jobs of getting your property from point A to point B - on time, every time and without further damage.
